Aluminium round rods, also known as ‘solid round bars’ or ‘massive aluminium round bars,’ are produced through extrusion and are available in alloy EN AW-6082 with a standard length of 3 meters.
These round bars offer excellent corrosion resistance and are highly machinable using CNC techniques such as turning and milling. Their high weldability makes them ideal for precision components in mechanical engineering, electronics, and instrumentation.
Additionally, they provide excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, are non-magnetic, and non-toxic, enhancing their versatility. In façade construction, they are commonly used as locking pins for the installation and adjustment of façade cassettes and heavy glass façade elements.
Depending on the application, various surface treatments can be applied to optimize both functionality and aesthetics.
