  • Een aluminium vierkantstaf is een massief, vierkant aluminium profiel dat breed wordt toegepast in de bouw, industrie en techniek. Het wordt veel gebruikt voor dragende constructies, machinebouw, gevelmontage en technische installaties, vanwege de hoge sterkte en stabiliteit.

  • Vierkantstaven worden geleverd in de legering EN AW-6060 (AlMgSi0,5) en EN AW-6082 (AlMgSi1). Kleinere afmetingen (bijvoorbeeld 8 mm) worden standaard geleverd in lengtes van 6 meter, grotere afmetingen worden geleverd in 3 meter lengtes. Maatwerkopties zijn beschikbaar op aanvraag.

  • De EN AW-6060 legering in toestand T66 staat bekend om zijn gemiddelde sterkte, goede corrosieweerstand, uitstekende anodiseerbaarheid en lasbaarheid (hoewel er een daling in sterkte kan optreden na het lassen). Deze eigenschappen maken het een typische profiellegering die breed inzetbaar is in verschillende toepassingen.

  • De EN AW-6082 (AlSi1MgMn) legering in toestand T6 is onder andere zeer geschikt voor zware mechanische belasting, heeft een goede corrosiebestendingheid, uitstekende bewerkbaarheid - goed te frezen, draaien en zagen - en een goede lasbaarheid.
