Aluminium square bars, also known as ‘solid square bars’ or ‘massive aluminium bars,’ are produced through extrusion and are available in alloy EN AW-6082 with a standard length of 3 meters.
These bars offer excellent corrosion resistance and are well-suited for CNC machining techniques such as turning and milling. Their good weldability makes them ideal for precision components in mechanical engineering, electronics, and instrumentation. Additionally, they have excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, are non-magnetic, and completely non-toxic.
In façade construction, aluminium square bars—similar to flat bars—are used for locking pins, lifting anchors, and adjustment anchors in the installation of façade cassettes and heavy glass façade elements.
Depending on the application, various surface treatments can be applied to enhance both functionality and aesthetics.
