Aluminium sheet | EN AW-5754 H111 Corrosion resistance | AlMg3
Aluminium sheet in grade 5754 (AlMg3) H111 is strong, tough, and resistant to corrosion and salt water – ideal for construction, shipbuilding, and transport. Excellent weldability and formability with high wear resistance. Available in various sizes and thicknesses, including custom options.
Product Features
- Seawater resistant; ideal for marine environments
- Excellent weldability and good formability
- High mechanical strength, stronger than 1050 & 5005 alloys
-
Aluminium sheet in EN AW-5754 alloy belongs to the 5000 series and contains magnesium as its main alloying element. This ensures excellent corrosion and seawater resistance, making it ideal for use in moist or aggressive marine and industrial environments such as shipbuilding, offshore, and the chemical industry.
With H111 temper, the sheet offers an optimal balance between strength and formability. It is highly suitable for laser cutting, bending, and welding without the risk of cracking or stress failure. Its high wear resistance and durability make this alloy perfect for constructions that must withstand heavy loads and external impacts over time.
Due to its high corrosion resistance, EN AW-5754 performs exceptionally well in transport applications such as bodywork, trailers, train components, and drainage systems – especially because of its low weight combined with high mechanical strength.
The sheets are available in various sizes and thicknesses. On request, we also offer custom solutions such as precision cutting and the right surface treatments, all tailored to your specific requirements.
